Chris Dingman Trio

Chris Dingman’s Trio is a platform of exploration for new sonic possibilities, merging jazz and global influences in the context of trance-inducing grooves and instinctive group rapport. Featuring a host of impeccable rhythm players, the trio serves up a strong sense of atmosphere and wonder, emotion and playfulness, all centered around Dingman’s expansive approach to composition and the vibes.

The trio’s album Embrace, released in 2020, features a set of all-new original compositions and follows up on the success of Dingman’s critically-acclaimed albums Waking Dreamand The Subliminal and the Sublime. Embrace received a grant from New Music USA.

Some of the group’s recent performances include the St. Petersburg Jazz Festival, Fogartyville Media Arts Center, The Bop Shop, The Jazz Gallery, and The Stone.
